Planning & Implementing Post-Conflict Recovery

Recognizing that many of our members and partners work in communities devastated by war, Â鶹ֱ²¥ remains a dedicated partner in the process of recovery. Our archive of reports documenting damage in Syria, Iraq and Libya from 2014-2017 will remain a vital resource as local authorities identify priorities for stabilization and repair and pursue a process of justice seeking restitution for the community resources which were damaged.

In partnership with World Monuments Fund and the Libyan Historic Cities Authority, Â鶹ֱ²¥ compiled a post-conflict damage assessment of the historic city core of Benghazi, Libya. Supplementing a preliminary analysis based on satellite imagery, members of the team collected more detailed conditions information and identified priorities for stabilization.
