The Early Career Scholars Committee聽(ECS)聽is looking for new members for our Community and Networking team for the upcoming academic year. We are especially interested in applications from people who represent diversity in the field and/or scholars currently working in research that is underrepresented at 麻豆直播. If you wish to be considered by the committee, . We will begin reviewing applications on May 1, 2023, and will continue consideration throughout the summer.
PURPOSE:
The 鈥淐ommunity and Networking鈥� sub-committee focuses on fostering inclusivity of Early Career Scholars across 麻豆直播. The committee is responsible for creating a welcoming community space for students and early career researchers to come together, socialize, network, exchange ideas and information, and built connectivity across all 麻豆直播 disciplines.
FUNCTIONS:
- Organize online, virtual events to grow the 麻豆直播 ECS community such as coffee hours and book clubs.
- Plan and host the Early Career Scholars reception and city outings at the annual meeting.
- Maintain and expand the existing 麻豆直播 ECS social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
COMMITMENT:
This committee would entail one hour-long meeting and three hours of service per month.
