[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Â鶹ֱ²¥’s Annual Meeting in Boston in 2020 promises to be our biggest yet, both in terms of attendees and in terms of the number of papers and sessions. Boston was Â鶹ֱ²¥’s home for many years and we want to make sure Â鶹ֱ²¥ members are able to take full advantage of everything Boston has to offer. As a new initiative this year, Â鶹ֱ²¥ is putting together a host-city interest group to supplement the academic program, and we are looking to hear from you. This group is designed to help coordinate dates and times of events taking place in the Boston area that Â鶹ֱ²¥ members would be interested in attending.If you know Boston well and would be interested in helping coordinate events outside the meeting’s academic program or if you are already planning an event, please email Marta Ostovich at programs@asor.org.
Some of the types of events we are thinking about include, but are not limited to:
- Discounted entrance fees to museums
- Workshops
- University tours and visits
- Visits to local sites
