If you would like to be added to a wait-list for The Westin San Diego, please e-mail Arlene Press (meetings@asor.org) and specify the nights you would like to stay and what type of room you need (King or 2 double beds). Rooms open regularly due to reservation changes and we will make every effort to find a room for anyone who would like to stay at the conference hotel. If arrangements are made with an overflow hotel, that information will be posted here and shared with those on the wait-list.
IMPORTANT: If you have a reservation in Â鶹ֱ²¥’s block that you need to modify or cancel, please go through Arlene Press rather than contacting the hotel. This will allow us to reallocate the room to another Â鶹ֱ²¥ attendee on the wait-list.
The 2019 Â鶹ֱ²¥ Annual Meeting will take place at The Westin San Diego, 400 West Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101. The hotel is located downtown and is short walk or trolley ride from the Convention Center, the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, and the San Diego Zoo, as well as many fine and casual options for dining and shopping.
Reservations: Â鶹ֱ²¥ has negotiated the discounted rate of $159 single/double for rooms at The Westin San Diego. You are encouraged to make your reservation early as Â鶹ֱ²¥’s block usually sells out before the meeting. NOTE: The $25/night hotel facilities/resort fee that appears at booking is waived for Â鶹ֱ²¥ attendees with a reservation in Â鶹ֱ²¥’s group block and will be deducted from the final bill.

Room-sharing: If you have a room or need a room that you would like to share at The Westin San Diego, please contact Arlene Press at meetings@asor.org to be placed on the room-share list. We will do our best to identify a potential roommate.
Airport Transportation: The Westin San Diego offers a complimentary airport shuttle daily from 6:00am to 11:00pm. Please contact the hotel at 619-239-4500 for further information.
Parking: Valet parking is available for a daily rate of $50
Dining: At the The Westin San Diego you can enjoy the contemporary coastal California dishes available for breakfast and lunch at Coast dining room, grab a quick coffee or a light snack at Aroma Cafe, or head to The Bar for a drink and menu selections from Coast. The hotel is surrounded by a number of fine and casual options for a sit-down meal or quick bite between sessions.
Childcare: Neither Â鶹ֱ²¥ nor The Westin San Diego are in the position to hire or recommend childcare providers. Sitterwise is a local service with vetted childcare providers.
