(updated November 3, 2022)
All of us at Â鶹ֱ²¥ look forward to gathering safely at the Annual Meeting in Boston. We realize that everyone is eager to connect, network, and share research in-person, even if the experience may look different than pre-COVID Annual Meetings. Â鶹ֱ²¥ staff and officers are following the evolving pandemic guidelines as they develop at the local (Boston) and national (USA) levels. Â鶹ֱ²¥ will follow all federal, local, and hotel guidelines and recommendations to ensure our members’ safety.
Vaccination and Mask Requirements
Â鶹ֱ²¥ has updated Covid protocols (as of November 3, 2022) for the 2022 Â鶹ֱ²¥ Annual Meeting in Boston. There will not be a vaccination requirement to attend the meeting, however, masks will be required in the conference venue except when presenting, responding, or actively eating or drinking. Â鶹ֱ²¥ recognizes that this masking policy is stricter than current CDC and local regulations. With attendees traveling from all over the country and world, masking will be maintained in consideration for those in the Â鶹ֱ²¥ family who are immunocompromised, or live with those with these concerns.
Read more about this decision in a letter from Â鶹ֱ²¥’s President and Executive Director here.
This page will be amended as the meeting approaches with the most up-to-date information regarding health and safety practices for the 2022 Annual Meeting. Please check back often.
Â鶹ֱ²¥ Safety Pledge and Practices

- All Â鶹ֱ²¥ staff and volunteers at the registration desk will take a COVID test if they are feeling sick or experiencing symptoms.
- Â鶹ֱ²¥ encourages all attendees to follow these same testing protocols.
- All staff, volunteers, and in-person and attendees pledge to meet as safely as possible by:
